Your Kiyora stone can be cleaned with gentle dishwasher soap once a month.

Soak the stone with a drop of dishwashing detergent and fill the rest of the stone with warm water. Let it sit for 10 minutes. Lightly scrub for 5-10 seconds with a gentle brush or microfibre cloth before emptying and rinsing with warm water.

Allow complete air dry before use again.

It's recommended to not over clean your diffuser stone as it contains fragile pores (once a month is more than enough).

Never use abrasive cleaning chemicals or detergents as this may damage the delicacy of the pores.

Note: Natural light staining may occur due to the natural pigments of the essential oils. Most of the staining clears once aired out.

Yes you can, however, as our natural diffusers have been designed to slowly absorb oils and slowly release over up to 5 days (depending on how many drops you have placed), it is recommended to have a separate diffuser stone in your bedroom for sleep and at your work desk for focus.
Alternatively, you can complete a gentle cleaning cycle prior to changing oils.

To clean your Kiyora, follow our gentle cleaning instructions and allow it to fully air dry before applying a new blend.

Everyone has a different sensitivity to smells. To find your sweet spot, take into account factors like whether you live with someone with high sensitivity and what your preference of scents are (mild or concentrated).

Something to be mindful of with our slow-release diffusers is that the scent will not be sharp immediately as it takes time for the oil to travel through the pores through absorption, then released. So try and refrain from dropping excess drops if you can't smell the scent straight away. You can always add more drops later if it's not strong enough.

For reference only based on a 3x2 room:
3-4 drops: up to 3 days
4-6 drops: up to 5 days
6-8 drops - up to 8 days

Tip: If you've accidentally put too many drops and it's too concentrated for you, pop the diffuser at the bottom of a closet to naturally remove musk from your clothes. Essential oils contain natural antibacterial and cleansing properties.
Alternatively, you can use the lid to partially close the diffuser to reduce the strength of diffusing.

Yes, all of our essential oils are 100% plant based. Our Kiyora stone is made from non-animal based materials.

Our blends contain select ingredients that are certified organic. These ingredients will be marked with an asterisk * next to it. We work closely with a certified aromatherapist as our supplier where the ingredients that have been chosen to not be organic, are of higher quality than the organic source for that plant.

Currently there are two ingredients in our blends that are not organic: sandalwood and may chang.

Our blends are 100% pure essential oil and do not contain any synthetics.
